It combines clinical hypnotherapy with psychotherapeutic talking therapy, drawing on techniques such as breathwork, mindfulness, and guided relaxation depending on what's most useful for you.

Finding the right therapist can feel daunting, particularly if you're unsure what qualities or credentials to look for.
Although hypnotherapy is not typically provided through the NHS, NHS guidance recommends choosing a hypnotherapist who is registered with a Professional Standards Authority-accredited organisation, such as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
It's also worth considering a therapist's training and professional background. Look for someone who has trained with a reputable institution, engages in regular continuing professional development, and receives ongoing clinical supervision. A qualified therapist should be transparent about the ethical framework they work within, be registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for data protection, and hold appropriate professional and public liability insurance.
While these credentials are important indicators of professionalism and accountability, the most significant factor is the connection you feel with the therapist themselves.
Trust your instincts—the decision about who you choose to work with is always yours.

I don't use client testimonials on my website for several reasons:
Professional ethical codes: As a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a member of the National Society of Talking Therapies (NSTT), I adhere to their ethical guidelines. The UKCP Code of Ethics prohibits the use of client testimonials in any form of advertising or promotional materials.
Confidentiality concerns: To properly verify testimonials (even anonymous ones) as required by advertising standards, I would need to breach client confidentiality, which goes against core therapeutic principles.
Power dynamics: Asking for reviews from clients might create an unhelpful dynamic where clients feel they need to provide positive feedback.Therapy is individual: The therapeutic experience differs for each person, so one person’s experience has little similarity to another’s, making a testimonial of little value.
So, instead of testimonials, I focus on being clear about my approach and what to expect, respecting your individuality and creating a therapeutic session just for you.

-
Based on what you need, it should take between 55 and 75 Min.
-
Each session begins with some time to talk — checking in on how things have been and exploring what's most present for you. This shapes the focus of the hypnotherapy that follows: relaxation, guided imagery, or therapeutic suggestion tailored to what's come up.
Towards the end, we take time to gently return to full alertness and reflect on anything that's emerged, so you leave with a sense of what to carry forward.

Hypnotherapy can provide valuable support during significant periods in life—moments of change, uncertainty, or transition that can feel overwhelming to face on your own.
People may come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, stress, low mood, sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, chronic pain, fears and phobias, unwanted behaviours, or a feeling of being stuck while life continues around them.
Some may want to move beyond long-standing patterns that no longer serve them, overcome self-doubt, or navigate a particular life event such as grief, a career transition, or changes within the family. Others may simply be looking for a safe, supportive space to talk openly, feel genuinely listened to, and make sense of their thoughts and emotions.
Quite often, the issue that first brings someone to therapy—whether it's a fear, a habit, or difficulty sleeping—leads to deeper insights and areas for growth as the process unfolds.
That is a natural part of therapy.
As your therapist, I will work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on what is most important to you. Using an individualised combination of hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic approaches, I will tailor the work to meet your unique needs.
Together, we will work within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, creating the opportunity for you to draw on your own strengths, develop new perspectives, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
