Terms & Conditions

Anoosh Omidi Hypnotherapy Last updated: June 2026

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which I offer hypnotherapy services. Please read them carefully before booking a session. By booking, you are confirming that you have read and agree to these terms.

1. The Initial Consultation

I offer a free initial consultation of approximately 30 minutes. This is an opportunity for us to talk about what has brought you to hypnotherapy, what you are hoping to achieve, and whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to proceed after this conversation.

2. Sessions

  • Online sessions are conducted online via a Zoom.

  • Face to face sessions are conducted at my therapy room in Fulham, West London.

  • Standard sessions last 60 minutes.

  • Sessions are by appointment only and are arranged following your initial consultation.

  • For online sessions, I ask that you are in a quiet, private space for the duration of each session, with a stable internet connection.

3. Fees

Individual session: £72

Course of 6 sessions: £360 (a saving of 17%, equivalent to £60 per session)

The free initial consultation is not chargeable.

Payment for individual sessions is due 24 hours before each appointment.

Payment for a course of 6 sessions is due in full before the first session begins.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer (BACS). Details will be provided on booking.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

I understand that life is unpredictable. I ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

More than 48 hours' notice: No charge. Your session will be rescheduled at no cost, or a full refund issued if you have prepaid.

24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged.

Less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance: The full session fee is charged. This cannot be refunded or credited toward a future session.

Course of 6 sessions: Cancellation within a course follows the same policy per session. If you wish to discontinue a course after it has begun, sessions already attended will be charged at the standard individual rate of £85 per session, and the balance refunded accordingly.

I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session in exceptional circumstances. In this case, I will give you as much notice as possible and no charge will be made.

5. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to a session, I will do my best to accommodate you within the remaining time. The session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee applies. If you are more than 15 minutes late and I have not heard from you, I will treat this as a non-attendance and the full cancellation fee will apply.

6. Suitability & Contraindications

Hypnotherapy is not suitable for everyone. Before we begin working together, I will ask you about your health and any relevant history. Please be as honest and thorough as possible in your responses.

I am not able to work with you using hypnotherapy if you have:

  • Epilepsy (without prior GP approval)

  • A diagnosis of psychosis or schizophrenia

  • A personality disorder (without prior consultation)

  • Severe clinical depression requiring immediate psychiatric support

If you are currently receiving treatment from a GP, psychiatrist, or other healthcare professional, I may ask for your consent to liaise with them, or ask that you inform them you are undertaking hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is complementary to — and not a replacement for — medical treatment. It is not a diagnostic service, and I will not diagnose any condition.

7. Confidentiality

Everything you share with me is treated with the strictest confidence. I will not discuss your sessions with anyone without your explicit consent, with the following exceptions:

  • Where I am required by law to disclose information (for example, if there is a serious risk of harm to you or others)

  • In the context of clinical supervision, where your identity will be anonymised

I receive regular supervision as required by the UKCP. Supervision is a professional requirement that supports the quality of the work; your confidentiality is protected throughout.

8. Your Responsibilities

To get the most from our work together, I ask that you:

  • Attend sessions sober and not under the influence of recreational drugs

  • Give honest and complete information about your health and circumstances

  • Engage with any between-session practices or exercises we agree upon

  • Communicate openly if you feel the work is not right for you

9. Crisis & Emergency Support

I am not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or feel at immediate risk of harm, please contact:

  • Your GP or NHS 111

  • The Samaritans: 116 123 (free, 24 hours)

  • Crisis text line: Text SHOUT to 85258

  • Emergency services: 999

Please make me aware at the start of our work together if you have a history of crisis, so we can discuss what support is in place.

10. Professional Standards

I am fully registered and accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I adhere to the UKCP Code of Ethics and undertake regular continuing professional development and supervision.

If you have a complaint about any aspect of my practice, I ask that you raise it with me directly in the first instance. If you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to raise a formal complaint with the UKCP: www.psychotherapy.org.uk

11. Limitation of Liability

While I work to the highest professional standards, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The effectiveness of hypnotherapy varies between individuals and depends on a range of factors including your engagement with the process.

My liability to you in connection with services provided is limited to the fees paid for the sessions in question.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of my services after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Anoosh Omidi Hypnotherapy is a sole practice registered in England.
